So... you're an average Joe who wants to
make some First of all, let me say this... I am no one special. I am not a Tony Robbins-type. I don't plan on joining Amway, nor will you see me on TV at 3:00 am on some cheesy infomercial trying to pawn off some get rich quick scheme. I am however, someone who wouldn't mind having a little money thrown my way if the opportunity arose. This is not my job or nor is it run by a company. I have a real job and I don't plan to make a living on the net. This is just some free information, advice and links. I have a couple web pages that I have worked hard on and I have a fairly steady flow of traffic now. Recently, I discovered a way to make money from those sites without having to do anything more than add banners and ads to my page. I had already done the hard work (designing my websites) and now I am making money from it by people who want to pay me for placing their ads on my pages. Hey, I'll take their money... This is NOT a get rich quick scheme!!! I worked hard on my pages and promotion. Chances are that you have too. Finally... payback time! But let me also say that I am not bringing in $5,000-$10,000 a month either. No one else will tell you this... they'd rather sign you up with dreams of big bucks overnight. I have 2 webpages that get about 200 hits/day per site. Right now I am trying out VALUECLICK and I place their banners on my pages. With every click-through (each time someone clicks on a banner) I can receive anywhere from 6-12 cents depending on the average amount of click-throughs I receive. At the moment... I am earning $150.00 US every month (I am a Canadian so that's even better for me! :) - and that amount is increasing. Now that may not seem like a lot of money to you, but hey, that's $150 bucks I didn't have before... so I'll take it. And if you are getting even more hits than I am, or if you try out other programs more suited to your site... you can make significantly more money. All you have to do is place a banner on your pages and ask your visitors to support you by visiting your sponsors. Anyone can do it. I'm an "Anyone." I'm not a part of some big corporation or company trying to sucker you in. Sheesh... this page is at Tripod... that should say it all. It's free, I'm cheap. So what I've done is compiled a list of different ways that you can further promote your website and make money on the side. Why? I figure that the more I research this, the more I will learn and the more money-making opportunities I will find -- and I don't mind spreading that information around.
